SPRINGBOARD

‘SPRINGBOARD’ ,the biggest educative and motivational radio seminar on Joy 99.7 FM, a private radio station in Accra, has organised a inspiring programme dubbed ‘Springboard 2009’ road show on the theme: “Igniting 10,000 Dreams Nation-wide”.
The road show was aimed at providing participants with proven tools for peak performance in planning, career enhancement, entrepreneurship, relationships, personal development and balance in all the key areas throughout the year.
It is expected that the conference would motivate participants to address pragmatic issues and techniques to gain deep understanding of the total process of personal development.
The programme, which has been on air since August 2008, is very much patronised.
The organisers of the conference, Comfort and Albert Ocran, reiterated that participants would also learn how to apply time and pay attention to the development of their careers and skill training programmes.
This year’s conference will cover 10 cities in the country and will have 15 motivational speakers to address various subjects on leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
The cities are Tema, Sunyani, Tamale, Bolgatanga, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Kumasi, Koforidua, Ho and Accra.
The speakers include the hosts, Comfort and Albert Ocran , Mr Ishmael Yamson, Professor Stephen Adei, Ms Joyce Aryee, Bishop Palmer Buckle, Mr Patrick Awuah and Ms Mawuena Dumor.
Others are Mr Peter Iliasu, Mr Ernest Akore, Reverend Ogbamey Tetteh, Mr Kweku Sintim Misa, Rev Dr Christy Doe-Tetteh, Mr Divine Akaba and Mr George Andah.
The conference fee payable by each participant for each venue is GH¢15 and participants who would register would receive a motivational booklet each by Albert and Comfort Ocran, an investment voucher from Data Bank, mobile telephone airtime, free health screening in some cities, a certificate of participation and other conference materials.
The hosts said another special feature of Springboard 2009 would be a National Conference to be held at the Pavilion “A” of the Trade Fair Centre to climax the road show on the January 31, 2009.
“Three thousand participants are expected to attend this record-breaking motivational conference,” they stated.
